Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based therapy that helps individuals increase self-compassion, learn to work with difficult emotions, and live healthier, more stable lives. DBT helps people better understand their emotions and work with these emotions to feel more grounded in themselves, their personal relationships, and at work. In this weekly skills group, participants learn practical tools to become more emotionally regulated, to skillfully manage times of distress, and to create longer lasting and deeper relationships. This 20-week group is ongoing, virtual (Zoom), and open to adults and young adults. Wednesdays 5:45-7
1 in 5 Americans suffer from chronic pain. Recent neuroscience research has discovered that certain neural networks in the brain (not actually structural damage in the body) are responsible for most chronic pain. This group uses Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to unlearn the patterns that create and sustain persistent pain. We will use evidence based, mind-body modalities to retrain the nervous system, unhook from pain and experience more joy. This 8-week group is virtual (Zoom) and open to adults. Tuesdays 12-1:15
